12 people died as Military plane crashes today

Congo's defense minister has confirmed that a military cargo plane crashed in the country’s capital Kinshasa this morning killing all 12 crew members aboard. “I confirm that a military aircraft crashed this morning. All 12 members of the crew died” said Defense Minister Crispin Atama Tabe. According to an army officer who witnessed the incident, the cargo plane caught fire shortly after taking off from Kinshasa’s N‘djili Airport and crashed in a nearby reserve controlled by the military’s elite Republican Guard units.   The officer said that there were both Congolese and foreigners among the dead. An agent at Congo’s aviation agency, also speaking on condition of anonymity, said the plane was an Antonov 12 destined for the eastern city of Bukavu

Nigerian man gifts Old homeless widow with a new bungalow in Abia State

A man, Identified as Chief Charles Nzechi, has put a smile on the face of an old homeless widow, in Abia State. According to a Facebook post, Mrs Onyemechi Nwanmo from Isiadu Afarata Ibeku in Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia State, had been living in a dilapidated mud house for years. "I come, I came and I concer": Lady says as she celebrates after her final exams

Come on! Are these people joking or do they really mean what they write? A Polytechnic graduate took to Facebook to celebrate after writing her final exams but she made a blunder that has given her post attention. Sharing a photo of herself and coursemates, she wrote: "I come I came and I concer". Obviously, she meant "I came, I saw, I conquered". She will not be the first to make such a mistake. Just a month ago, a university graduate while rejoicing after writing his final exams also made a similar blunder. Is this a sign that something is seriously wrong with the education system in Nigeria?

  A thief arrested by the Guinean police has congratulated the law enforcement agents for their feat. He commended the police during an interview after he was c@ught. In a viral video on social media, Boubacar Diallo, a student at a technical college in Mamou, Guinea, said he knew the gravity of his crime and acknowledged that he could be jailed. Diallo and his accomplice admitted to stealing 50million Guinean francs (N2million) from a phone shop in the north-western city.
